In the map of your website, the name of the sea between Korea and Japan is described as "Sea of Japan". It seems unreasonable to use the name "Sea of Japan" which is decided in the period of imperialism because its original name is "East Sea" which has been used throughout history.
Taking into account the geographical traits of the waters, the international norms for establishing geographical names and the historical legitimacy the name East Sea holds, South Korea considers it proper to use both names used by each country while the two countries remain in disagreement on a common name for the sea they share.
I ask you to erase ¡®Sea of Japan¡¯ from the map and replace it with ¡®East sea¡¯ only. It is a totally wrong term and it must not be used anywhere. Also, if possible, please text me back with the implemented change. Thank you for reading my message.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
