I have found an error in one of your articles. (https://www.newscientist.com/article/2242786-a-japanese-nuclear-power-plant-created-a-habitat-for-tropical-fish/)
The sea between Korea and Japan is undoubtedly South Korea¡¯s territory, due to international laws and history. The sovereignty of South Korea over this sea, called ¡°East Sea¡±, is based on historic facts and firmly confirmed by ¡°effective control¡±, which is the main requirement of the establishment of territorial sovereignty in international laws. Could you correct the name of this sea as the ¡°East Sea¡±?
Further, if you do not mind, could you let me know an e-mail address of the person in charge or another possible way to correct this, please?
Thank you for your help.
I will look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Hyolee Seo
