Firstly, Dokdo became Korea¡¯s territory since 512A.D. which is also stated in Samguksagi(1145). In the 13th year of King Jijeung of Silla, the general Isabu incorporate Dokdo into Silla and started to call it ¡°Usanguk¡±. Secondly, the ¡°Geographical Section of the Annals of King Sejong¡±, which is compiled in 1432, stated Koreans could see Dokdo when it is sunny. Thirdly, there is a record that Dokdo was called ¡°Sambongdo¡± in 1471 and ¡°Gagido¡± in 1794. Fourthly, the ¡°Vol. 41 of Edict of Korean Empire¡±(1900) named ¡°Ulleungdo¡± as ¡°Ulldo¡± and recorded as ¡°¡¦..the area will control the whole area of ulleung and Dokdo¡¦¡±, which means Korea decided Dokdo as gerichtssprengel of Korea.
Now, many other countries are naming Dokdo wrong like ¡°Liancourt¡± as example, but Dokdo should have a single name, ¡°Dokdo¡±. I would like to suggest you to use ¡°Dokdo, a Korea territory¡± instead of ¡°Dakesima¡± or ¡°Liancourt¡± . However, as I explained you in the letter, Dokdo is clearly our territory. Your little naming mistake can influence whole international people. Please cooperate with me. Thank you for your time.
