When I searched the location of the East Sea on your website, it presented the location with the text 'Sea of Japan'(You can look up the image I attached.) However, it is certain that using 'East Sea' unilaterally or using both two is correct. These are some of the reasons.
International Hydrographic Organization, or IHO, once passed Japan's application of using 'Sea of Japan' unilaterally, but this situation is problematic. First, South Korea was under Japanese occupation during that period. Also Japan was victorious country of World War 1 then, so their influence was huge. No other country could have been able to oppose to Japan's application, and this is unjust.
Furthermore, international rules suggest that names of seas shared by two or more countries should be decided through consultation between the countries involved. Since 'East Sea' represents not only South Korea but also the whole continent of Asia, it is right to notate both 'East Sea' and 'Sea of Japan' to describe the sea.
