While I appreciate that a naming dispute exists over the sea, in the context of this article, I do not think it is inaccurate or misleading to refer to it solely as the "Sea of Japan". While I certainly don't think it is a trivial matter, it is nonetheless the case that it is widely known internationally as the "Sea of Japan" and the majority of our readers will recognise it under that name. In the context of a brief mention to identify the location of the missile test, I think it is reasonable to refer it solely by this name. Nonetheless, I certainly take on board what you say and we are most grateful to you for taking the time to get in touch and sharing your views.
