Thank you, sebbong1998.
Henceforth, maps on CODA will identify the body of water as East Sea.

Hello? My name is Seyoung Yoon. I`m 17, Republic of Korea and a member of "saving Dokdo voluntary organization". "Saving Dokdo organization is a non-governmental organization and also a voluntary organization. Saving Dokdo organization consists of elementary, middle and high school students who provide correct information about Korea to world's various companies and publishers that provide wrong information. Recently I visited your website, and was quite surprised to find your maps of Korea and Japan still describe Korea¡¯s ¡®East Sea¡¯ as ¡®Sea of Japan¡¯, which is incorrect.(Link: http://cofda.wordpress.com/2013/11/19/russia-india-to-hold-joint-naval-exercises-in-sea-of-japan/)A proper name for the body of water between the Korean peninsula and the Japanese archipelago is not simply a question of changing the name of a geographical feature. It is rather a part of national effort by the Korean people to erase the legacy of Japanese Imperialism and to redress the unfairness that has resulted from it. It is an absolutely mistaken thing to hear one side of story and follow. If we let this kind of things alone, it brings about a serious problem to disturb order of International society. And, National Geographic, worldatlas.com and Lonely Planet are already using the name ¡®East Sea¡¯ in their website after we pointed out the error. Please change your map's mark, "Sea of Japan" into "East Sea"
Thank you for reading.
