Dear a relevant person

Greetings from South Korea

I am Seonwon Kim, a high school student from South Korea.

I am sorry for frightening you with this letter.

However, I must let you know something is wrong with your websites.

Occasionally I realized that your website uses the term 'Sea of Japan' on the map.

I am sure that you will consider it again after reading my letter.

º»·Ð
the East Sea is located between Korea and Japan.
The East Sea has been an old and familiar name in East Asia for over 2000 years.
Ancient maps used the term 'East Sea' much.
After the 19th century, the Sea of Japan started using internationally.
After Japan invaded Korea, the international organization confirmed the name the Sea of Japan instead of the East Sea.

°á·Ð
It is a sorrowful story.
After the Korean colonization period, Korea lost many historical things, including location names and cultural stuff.
We have found them one by one And corrected them day by day.
It is a crucial thing for us and our next generation.

This letter will be an opportunity for reconsideration of you.

Best,
Seonwon
