I hope this registration finds you well. I am a high-school student from South Korea. I have read an article on AFP BB news about South Korea's East Sea Territory Defense Training, written in 2019. 08. 25. I would like to report the fact that there is an important error within the article. It's that the island "Dokdo" has been written as "Takeshima". This is a wrong notation, and should be fixed urgently.

I do appreciate the fact that this article notified the Sea which Dokdo is in as "the East Sea". Also, I do see that you have written "Dokdo" as the Korean name for Takeshima, and you also stated the fact that Korea is ruling the island's territory. However, the notification "Takeshima" itself is wrong. The island's name is "Dokdo", not only for Korea but for anyone else. For example, China, Taiwan, Poland, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Slovakia, the Philippines, Israel all use "Dokdo" as the name of the island. The name "Takeshima" is used in Japan, and Japan only. Stating that the island's real name is "Takeshima" and the Korean name for it is 'Dokdo" doesn't seem right at all.
