At http://www.worldatlas.com/webimage/countrys/asia/eastsea.htm, I found that the sea between Korea and Japan is named as 'Sea of Japan'. I was surprised because one of seas is named as it is owned by a nation. In that 'Sea of Japan', there are islands and they are registered as Korean territory.

As a result, my opinion is that whole the sea cannot be named as territory of Japan.
