Dear webmaster,

Hello. This is Chang Yunseo from South Korea.

I have read your article about the amount of carbon dioxide absorbed in warmer seas in http://www.earthweek.com/2009/ew090116/ew090116g.html and it truly helped me a lot in studying the surrounding seas of Korea.

But I am sorry to say that 'Sea of Japan' which is written between Korea and Japan on the map should be changed to 'East Sea'.
It is because writing in 'East Sea' was already accepted throughout the history from many centuries ago.
In addition, 'East Sea' is actually Korean territory than Japan's because this was also accepted by the evidences found in the past.
To help your understanding about this issue, I have attached a link (http://www.koreaaward.com/kor/5330).

Therefore if you do not mind, please change 'Sea of Japan' on the map and in the article into 'East Sea'.

Your sincerely,
Chang Yunseo.
