Peninsula and the Japanese Islands, called as "Sea of Japan" in your
article, is also called as “East Sea.” So it needs to be corrected. In 1910,
Japanese Empire invaded Korea and took control of it for 36 years. During that
period, Japanese Empire marked the sea as “Sea of Japan” because Koreans lost
their sovereignty. But Korea already recovered its sovereignty over than 70
years ago. Therefore, it seems unreasonable to only use the name “Sea of Japan”
which symbolizes imperialism.
