However in the picture showing china, korea and japan, the maps shows east sea as 'sea of japan' and i don't think that's a correct reference about it because korea has been ruling east sea for centuries and also in geographical aspect, korea is more closer to east sea than japan there are also many ancient datas officially saying that east sea,including dokdo (a small island located in outskirts of east sea) japan now is claiming that dokdo and east sea is their territory but the truth is, it's obviously korea's territory
