Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Yujin Hwang, actively involved in efforts to safeguard our territory and territorial waters, seeking international recognition.

º»·Ð
I noticed an error on your website regarding the naming of the "East Sea," incorrectly labeled as the "Sea of Japan." 'East Sea' has been used by Koreans for over 2,000 years, contrasting with 'Sea of Japan' originating from Matteo Ricci's 1602 map. Despite Japan's historical promotion, Korea advocates for both terms' balanced use.

°á·Ð

I kindly request correcting 'Sea of Japan' to 'East Sea' or 'East Sea (Japan Sea)' on your website. Your attention is appreciated.

Best regards, Yujin Hwang
