Hello, this is Dohun Kang, a student in the Republic of Korea. There seems to be a marking mistake on the website.

º»·Ð
Takeshima is not the Island¡¯s original name. The proper term for the island is Dokdo, and the Island is a territory of the Republic of South Korea. There are no evidence to prove that Dokdo is part of Japan, whereas there are plenty of documents proving that Dokdo had been part of the Korean Peninsula since Joseon. Even according to the international law, there are no justifiable records of Dokdo being part of Japan.

I highly request that the website changes the name ¡®Takeshima¡¯ and removes the island from the Japanese category. It is essential that we stay true to our past for a sustainable future. Thank you.
