Hello sir, I am a student for Korean Minjok Leadership Academy, Eugene Lim.
I have read your article on the internet, titled "Returning takeshima is the first step to better relations with Japan. After so, I sincerely ask you to correct the naming for the island, takeshima to it's proper name Dokdo.

Takeshima, often known as Liancourt island, is an island between Korea and Japan located at Eastern Sea. But the fact here is 'Dokdo', which Japan and other countries like to call as Takeshima. On your article, there is a statement about the San Francisco Peace Treaty. Dokdo might be seen as Japanese territory. But I want to correct this by reference from way back history between Korean and Japan. https://dokdo.mofa.go.kr/eng/dokdo/reason.jsp This is a site that listed the events to prove Dokdo as Korean territory. They are all official records throughout the history, and I ask you to read them and hope they would lead you to the truth.

Dokdo might be seen as just an island in the middle of the Ocean, but in reality, it holds lots of meanings. It has a meaningful cost in it. It is never a land to be seen as a light topic, but deserves to be treated with only the truth.

Sincerely,

Eugene Lim
