Hello, I am Sung Min-ju, who is attending high school in Korea. I am working as a Dokdo reporter. The Dokdo Reporter Group reports and corrects typographical errors and false information related to Dokdo. I also saw an error in Dokdo notation on this website. I wrote an e-mail to notify this and request correction. I would like you to read my article and correct it with the correct information. If you have any questions, please contact me by email.

On this website, Dokdo is indicated as ¡®Takeshima¡¯ rather than ¡®Dokdo¡¯. Dokdo is Korean territory, so'Dokdo' is the correct expression. From now on, I will explain why Dokdo is Korean territory.

On January 28, 1696, the Japanese shogunate confirmed that Ulleungdo and Dokdo were not Japanese territory through the Tottori Domain, and issued a ban on travel to Takeshima (Ulleungdo). Later, in 1699, it was officially confirmed that Ulleungdo was Joseon Dynasty through diplomatic documents with Joseon.

In addition, the report of the Japanese Foreign Ministry's ¡°Investigation into the End of Korean Relations Proposal,¡± which was submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after an inspection of Joseon by Sada Hakubo, an official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1870, is also the basis. This report mentions "the circumstances in which Takeshima (Ulleungdo) and Matsushima (Dokdo) became affiliated with Joseon", indicating that the Japanese Foreign Ministry recognized the two islands as Joseon territory at the time.

From these grounds, it is clear that Dokdo is Korean land. In addition to these errors, there are numerous typographical errors and false information on the Internet. I hope that people no longer come across misinformation. We would appreciate it if you can correct any misinformation on this website. Thank you for reading the long article so far. I look forward to a positive answer.
