Dear whom it may concern, Hello, I am Sung Min-ju, who is a second year student at Pusan Foreign Language High School in Korea. I am working as a reporter for Dokdo by reporting false information or errors related to Dokdo, suggesting a way to correct them. During this activity, you come across a lot of misinformation. I am writing this e-mail now to prevent such information as much as possible. I would appreciate it if you could look at this email and correct errors.

I found a case of mislabeling Dokdo on a Japanese tourist site. First of all, the most noticeable error was the expression of Dokdo as ¡°Takeshima¡±. ¡°Takeshima¡± is the Japanese name for Dokdo. Since Dokdo was recognized as the land of Korea, the name ¡°Takeshima¡± has been misrepresented. However, Japan claims that Dokdo is their land and continues to use this name. Also, there is more to note in this publication. It even designated an official anniversary of ¡°Takeshima Day¡±, spreading false information that Dokdo is Japanese territory. By making this formally false claim, people cannot help but get confused without knowing the facts. So, help people accept the right information.

My goal is to let everyone know that Dokdo is the land of Korea. Also, I think someday Japan will recognize Dokdo as Korean land. To achieve this, it is an urgent need to correct the current Dokdo notation errors. Please fix any errors related to Dokdo. Thank you for reading the long article. I look forward to your positive response. |
