Dear. Webmaster
Hello. This is Kyu-bee Ham from Northeast
Asian History Foundation. Before heading down to the main subject, I want to
notice you that I
bear no malice toward you at all and it¡¯s very honor
for me to write in your website. I am
a member of the Dokdo Cyber Press, and work to correct wrong indication about
Korean territory.

Unfortunately, I found out some wrong mark
in your post, that the ¡°East Sea¡± was named as the ¡°Sea of Japan.¡± The archipelago
of Korea and Japan, currently named as the 'Sea of Japan' in your map, should
be corrected to the 'East Sea'. It seems unreasonable to use the name "Sea
of Japan" because it was decided in the period of imperialism and it has
its original name, "East Sea", which has been used throughout
history. Also, many international organizations including U.N. agencies have
corrected ¡°Sea of Japan¡± to ¡°East Sea.¡±

Therefore, I believe that it should be
described as the ¡°East Sea¡± or at least with the simultaneous use of both
names; ¡°East Sea/Sea of Japan.¡± I really appreciate you for reading this letter
and it would be more honored if you consider this issue positively and reply to
my email, kyubee0920@naver.com. I¡¯ll
be glad to hear from you again.
Yours sincerely,
Kyu-bee Ham
