재팬 엑스포 주최자님과 관계자님께

개인적으로 저에게는 작년에 한국에서 두 달 간 머문 프랑스 친구가 있습니다. 그녀가 고향인 프랑스 파리로 돌아갔을 때 그녀는 제게 매년 파리에서 개최되는 재팬 엑스포에 관한 메시지를 하나 보내주었습니다. 비록 제가 파리에 두 번 가 보았지만 귀하의 엑스포에 대해서 안 적이 없었습니다. 하지만 제 친구를 통해 귀하의 엑스포가 프랑스 사람들 뿐만 아니라 일본 문화에 관심있는 다른 유럽사람들에게도 매우 큰 이벤트라는 것을 알게 되었습니다. 한국에 살고 있는 대학생이자 (일본의) 이웃국가의 시민으로서 저는 고등학교 재학 중에 일본어를 꾸준히 배워왔으며, 귀하께서 일본의 문화에 관심이 있는 만큼, 저 또한 일본에 방문하고 머물렀었습니다. 제가 일본 문화에 관심이 있는 이유는 (지리적 근접성으로 인해) 프랑스 문화와 영국의 문화가 비슷하면서도 다른 것처럼 한국과 일본의 문화가 비슷하면서도 다르기 때문입니다.

Dear the Japan Expo organizers and to whom concerned.

Personally, I have a French friend who stayed in Korea for two months last year. Once she got back to her hometown Paris, she sent me a message about your Japan Expo held annually in Paris. Although I have visited Paris twice before, I have never known about your Expo, but because of her, I got to know about the Expo is a huge event to not only French people but also to other Europeans who are interested in Japanese culture. As a college student living in Korea and as a neighboring country citizen, I have learned Japanese language throughout my highschool years and have visited and stayed in Japan for a long period of time as I was interested in Japanese culture as much as you display on your Expo. I am interested in Japanese culture because Japanese culture and Korean culture are quite similar but also quite different as they are with the relativeness of French culture and the British culture.
