Dear Web Administrator, Hello, I am Sung Min-ju, who is currently attending Pusan Foreign Language High School in Korea. While browsing the website, I noticed some errors and now I am writing this email. I'm going to talk about one of those errors. I hope you can fix this error I am talking about. If you want to ask, you can contact me by email.

The error I'm going to talk about is about the notation of 'East Sea'. Articles on this website describe 'East Sea' as 'Sea of Japan'. But I will explain why it is wrong.
The East Sea area is adjacent to four countries, South Korea, North Korea, Japan, and Russia, and is especially composed of the territorial waters of these countries and the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). Nevertheless, it is incorrect to mark only the claims of a specific country. Therefore, we need a generic name that can include the countries it is in contact with.

For the same reason as above, the expression 'East Sea' is more correct than the expression 'Japanese sea'. I would be grateful if the web administrator read my article and correct any errors on this website. If you correct any errors, it will be of great help to Korea and many people who come into contact with this article. Thank you for reading my article so far. I look forward to good results. |
