Even official documents from the Japanese government in the past acknowledged that Dokdo was the territory of the Republic of Korea. 

In 1696, the Tokugawa shogunate banned the trespassing of Ulleungdo Island, the Meiji government's ``Investigation into the End of the Joseon Dynasty Relations'' (1870), and the Taejeonggwan Directive (1877). will be. 

In particular, in March 1877, Taejeonggwan, the highest administrative agency in Japan's Meiji era, clearly instructed that “Keep in mind that the first province besides Ulleungdo, that is, Dokdo, has nothing to do with Japan,” based on the fact that the Tokugawa shogunate banned travel to Ulleungdo at the end of the 17th century. 

By referring to these data, it is clear that Dokdo is the land of Korea.

Since Dokdo is a territory of the Republic of Korea, it should be labeled as 'Dokdo', not 'Takeshima'.
