Dear Webmaster,

Hello, I am Sung Min-ju, who is attending high school in Korea.

The reason I am writing an e-mail now is because I encountered a Dokdo notation error on this website.

So, I would like to report this error and request a correction.

I hope you can read this e-mail and correct it with the correct information.

If you have any questions, please contact me by email.

Let me explain why the notation 'Takeshima' is wrong.

In the 20th century, the Korean Empire confirmed that this island is Korean territory through administrative measures to include Seokdo, that is, Dokdo, in the jurisdiction of Uldo County with ¡¸Edict No. 41¡¹ (1900) in the 4th year of Gwangmu.

In 1906, when Uldo (Ulleungdo) Gun Chief Shim Heung-taek found out that Dokdo was incorporated into Japanese territory from an investigation team composed of Shimane Prefecture citizens in Japan, he immediately told an observer in Gangwon-do, ¡°Dokdo, a member of the main county¡¦ " he posted a report.

This is evidence that Dokdo was accurately recognized and managed within the scope of the rule based on ¡¸Edict 41¡¹ (1900).

On the other hand, the Uijeongbu, the country's highest agency at the time of receiving this report, issued ¡¸Order No. 3¡¹ (1906) to re-examine Japan's incorporation of Dokdo territory because it was'unfounded'.

This tells us that the Korean Empire was ruling.

Nevertheless, Japan established Dokdo as Shimane Prefectural Notice No. 40 (1905) based on the rule of preoccupation of Muju-ji during the Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905) that occurred during the imperialist aggression of Northeast Asia that began in the 1890s Invaded.

This Japanese act is illegal and has no effect under international law in that it violates the firm sovereignty over Dokdo that has been established for a long time from ancient times to the Korean Empire.

For this reason, it is wrong for Japan to claim Dokdo as its own land, and the Japanese notation ¡®Takeshima¡¯ is also wrong.

Beyond the above explanation, there is a huge amount of evidence that can prove Dokdo is Korean territory.

So, I would appreciate it if you read my article and correct any errors.

Thank you for reading the article.

I look forward to your positive response.

Have a nice day.
