Dear webmaster,

I am a 1oth grader residing in South Korea. I was searching about Dokdo and found your website.

I realized that there is a fatal error in ypur website.

The choice to mark "Dokdo" as "Takeshima" dismayed me.

Takeshima is a false name made by Japan, so it is not approriate.

I hope this email will help you correct your error.

It is proved that Dokdo is Korean territory.

According to several historical documents , Dokdo was Korean territory since 512.

In the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty, it is marked that when  Isabu occupuied Usanguk in 512, Dokdo was also incorporated.

lso, Japan  has already agreed  that they do not own  Dokdo, Jeju island and Ulleungdo in 1946, 'Supreme Commander's Memorandum No. 677'.

But after the Korean War they invaded Dokdo and changed their mind, saying Dokdo is their territory.

Compared to Korea ,Japan does not have the adequate information tho prove it is theirs.

To add, "Dokdo belongs to the Ulleung County land, and Ulleung Island and a stone blade, Ulleung-gun, (Dokdo) govern."

This is a part of 'Regulations of the republic of Korea No.41' in 1900 whish is 5years earlier than the Japanese announcement in 1905.
