Dear Webmaster,

Hello, I am Sung Min-ju, who is attending high school in Korea. The reason I am writing an e-mail now is because I encountered a Dokdo notation error on this website. So, I would like to report this error and request a correction. I hope you can read this e-mail and correct it with the correct information. If you have any questions, please contact me by email.

On this website, Dokdo is written as ¡°Takeshima¡± and expressed as the land of Japan. This is incorrect information and I think it should be corrected. It should be marked as'Dokdo', and it is definitely Korean land. From now on, I will tell you two reasons why Dokdo is Korean land. First, ¡°Dokdo belongs to Ulleung-gun, so Ulleung-gun governs Ulleungdo and Seokdo (Dokdo)¡±. This is five years earlier than Japan's announcement in 1905, so you can clearly see that Japan was Korea's land before claiming that it was your own. Second, in January 1946, the Supreme Command of the Allied Powers, SCAPIN No. 677, ¡ºJustice of Japan¡» said that Dokdo was excluded from Japanese territory. It stipulated that there must be other orders or proclamations to revise the decision of the Allied Powers, and since there have been no other orders or agreements since, it can be considered that the Republic of Korea owns the territory of Dokdo.

There are many other reasons besides these two. It is clear that Dokdo is Korean land, so it should be written as'Dokdo'. Please, I hope you can read this e-mail and correct the error correctly. Thank you for reading the long article so far, and I look forward to your positive response.
