To Whomever It May
Concern
This is Heeseo Jung
from the Dokdo Cyber Press, an organization to provide correct information
about Korea and Dokdo to the world, and fix some incorrect information
surrounding Dokdo and Korea.
Recently I visited
your website : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02QMA9--aZY
And I was quite
surprised to find your websites still label Korea's 'Dokdo' as ¡®Liancourt Rocks,'
which is incorrect.

Dokdo, which is an integral part
of the Korean territory historically and under international law, is described
incorrectly in your website. The name, ¡°Takeshima/Liancount Rocks¡± seems to be
taken from Japanese or Japanese-influenced sources as Japan has illegally and
inappropriately been working to use that name internationally. The name ¡°Liancourt
Rocks¡± was given by a French whaling ship Liancourt which charted the island in
1849 and have been used by western people but never by its local people. The
name ¡°Dokdo¡± has long been used by the Korean people. This is the legitimate
name that should be used internationally. Against this back drop, we would like
to request you to use the name ¡°Dokdo¡± when you refer to the island at issue.

As a fine source for
the online information, I hope you will be able to make appropriate corrections
on your website. I look forward to your cooperation and it would be most
helpful if you give me reason when you decide to adhere to current naming
practice. I'll be waiting for your reply at leona1668@gmail.com.
Thank you so much for
your consideration.
Yours very
truly,
Heeseo Jung
