Dear Webmaster,

I¡¯m Joonweon Suh, a member of Dokdo Cyber Press of South Korea.

I would like to have indicate about this news on your website.
Your news about "North Korea fires missile into Sea of Japan" is a mistaken place name of "East Sea". So, I would like to explain about why shouuld this sea be described as "East Sea", not "Sea of Japan".

º»·Ð

According to your article and news, the sea between Japan and Korea is written as the Sea of Japan. There is no historical nor political evidence that the sea belongs to Japan. East Sea is not only surrounded by Japan but other countries including Korea. Therefore, I believe that the body of water between Korea and Japan should be described as the ¡°East Sea¡± or at least with the simultaneous use of both names,  ¡°East Sea/Sea of Japan¡±.

°á·Ð
Therefore, I sincerely ask you to use ¡°East Sea¡± to describe the body of water between Korean and Japan in your maps and contents.

I appreciate your attention and look forward to your consideration.

Yours Sincerely,

Joonweon Suh
