Dear Concerned Reader,

I hope you're doing well. My name is Yujin Hwang, and I really care about making sure we get our geography facts right, especially when it comes to a place called "Dokdo."

º»·Ð

I noticed something on your website that I wanted to talk about. It's about a place called "Takeshima." Actually, it should be called "Dokdo." It's a small island between Korea and Japan in the Eastern Sea.

I think it's super important to use the right name because "Dokdo" is what it's always been called by the people who live nearby, even though Japan and some others call it "Takeshima."

I also saw something about the San Francisco Peace Treaty on your site. It might make people think that Dokdo belongs to Japan, which isn't true. Dokdo is definitely part of Korea, and there's a lot of history to prove it.

So, I'm asking if you could please fix the name on your site to say "Dokdo" instead of "Takeshima." It's not just about getting the facts straight; it's also about sharing the true history and making sure everyone understands.

Thanks a lot for listening. I'm looking forward to hearing back from you.

Best regards,

Yujin Hwang
