Dear Concerned Reader,
Hope you're doing alright. I'm Yujin Hwang, and I'm all about making sure we've got our geography straight. One thing I noticed on your site needs fixing – it's about a place called "Takeshima." Actually, it should be called "Dokdo." It's a small island between Korea and Japan in the Eastern Sea.

Getting the name right matters because "Dokdo" is what it's always been called by the folks living nearby, even though Japan and others call it "Takeshima."

Also, I spotted something about the San Francisco Peace Treaty on your site. It might give the wrong idea that Dokdo belongs to Japan, which is not true. Dokdo is definitely part of Korea, and there's plenty of history to back it up.

So, could you please update the name on your site to say "Dokdo" instead of "Takeshima"? It's not just about getting the facts straight; it's about sharing the real history and making sure everyone knows.

Thanks for taking the time. Looking forward to your response.

Cheers,

Yujin Hwang
