Hello, I¡¯m Kwang-min Jeong from Korean high school .

In articles dealing with issues related to Korea, I would like to find and correct information that is incorrect or insufficient in history and geography.
I came across your site while looking for wrong information.

I am convinced that using the correct name for the sea between the Korean Peninsula and the Japanese archipelago does not simply change the name of the geographical feature of that sea. It seems unreasonable to use the name "Japan Sea " which is decided in the period of imperialism because its original name is "East Sea" which has been used throughout history. Therefore, I believe that the body of water between Korea and Japan should be described as the ¡°East Sea¡± or at least with the simultaneous use of both names; ¡°East Sea/Sea of Japan.¡±
This is part of a national effort to erase the legacy of Japanese imperialism by Koreans and to raise the irrationality arising from Japanese imperialism. It is an obvious mistake to hear only one story and follow it blindly. Leaving these things alone can create serious problems that can disrupt the international social order.

I'm looking forward to reading more articles on your website and I'd also like to read a revised version of the article I mentioned above. If you do so, world citizens and students will have the right information about the Korean War and the soldiers who fought for Korea. To name the sea in the name of'Donghae' is part of how I love my country, Korea, and it is the wishes of Koreans for peace in Asia. We hope that your company will also participate in the hope of Koreans for peace in Asia.
