To Whom it may concern,

Greetings,

I am Seonwon Kim, a high school student in South Korea.

I am finding out typographical errors about Korean history or territory.

I found out big discrepancy between truth and what you said and strongly urge to correct the wrong term ¡°Sea of Japan¡°.

This letter will give you a chance to tackle this issue.

I occasionally encounter an error term about Korean territory on the websites.
When I visit on your website, I found
about something wrong about the name of island, ¡°East Sea" which belongs to Korea since the 6th century.

Unfortunately, Japan invaded Korea in early 20C, when was the starting point to tragedy of both countries.

From 1910, Japan had ruled Korea, and they deleted or corrected ancient Korean historical evidences.

After Korea liberated from Japan in 1945, Korean people are trying to correct the wrong history and errors.

Still, there has been a big conflict between Japan and Korea for the ownership of East Sea. However, many ancient historical maps supported East Sea is the right term.

This letter is not only single challenge to correct terms but also a big step toward correcting Korean ancient history.

I appreciate to your patience of reading my letter.

Best regatds,

Seonwon Kim
