Hello I am a high school student from Korea. Recently, I visitied AP news website and found out that your website uses 'Sea of japan' without writing 'East Sea' together. I assume that AP news is such a influential news so I was concerned about this problem.

Since 1992, Korea has officially brought up a problem of the East Sea marking issue. As a result, maps that mark the sea as 'East Sea/Sea of Japan'are increasing.We are not arguing that people should use 'East Sea' instead of 'Sea of Japan'. According to UN, if the countries do not agree on the same name. it is recommended to write both. So I request AP news to write both 'East Sea' and 'Sea of Japan' to describe this sea in your website.
