Hello, my name is Victoria (Jungwon) Ok, from Tokyo Korean High School in Japan. Currently, I am actively working as a member of Dokdo Cyber Press of South Korea. I decided to take this time to email your website when I came across an article with a map where East Sea was indicated as 'Sea of Japan'. 

The body of water lying between the Korea peninsula and Japanese archipelago has been called 'East Sea' in Korea with inevitable evidences dating back about thousands of years. In fact, antique books written in Japan also indicated the sea as '朝鮮海’ (Sea of Joseon).

I truly understand that you do not want to be involved in historical tension between Korea and Japan over territorial issues. Therefore, I do not ask you much but just to include 'East Sea' next to the name 'Sea of Japan' in your article. I believe using 'Sea of Japan' and 'East Sea' would not cause much problem, so I humbly ask for your attention and interest in changing the name.
