In an article about North Korea, I found out that it has used a picture that marked "East Sea" as "Sea of Japan". I would like to suggest that you replace the picture to one that indicates the water between Korea and Japan as "East Sea".
Using this name doesn't only means a change in name calling the water. Since writing the sea as "Sea of Japan" has a lot to do with Japanese imperialism existed in 20th century, this matter has been highly controversial between Korea and Japan. And we, Dokdo Cyer Press, are trying to make people worldwide be aware of this problem and correct some mistaken expressions about East Sea. I do look forward for your cooperation. |
