Hello. My name is Wi In-young, and I am a 19-year-old student at Busan Foreign Language High School in Korea. Recently, I have been visiting various websites to check if there are any wrong information about Korea and if there are any wrong information, I am writing to the webmaster asking them to correct it. Today, after looking at your site, I found out that there was a mistake in the map you attached, so I am writing this letter to let you know. Please read it through.

First of all, on the map you attached, the wide sea between Japan and Korea is currently not owned by any country. In other words, there is neither 'sea of Japan' nor 'sea of Korea'. However, many people still call this sea 'sea of Japan'. If you don't know well, it's easy to get the illusion that it's the sea of Japan. I am writing to you to prevent this kind of misunderstanding. It is correct that this sea is written as 'east sea' as the sea in the east. I hope you will read and correct my writing.

If you feel that my argument is valid, please correct it as soon as possible. If not, you can re-attach the map that says 'east sea'. Please do not describe this sea as 'sea of Japan' in any way. Thank you for reading this long message, I will continue to use your site well. Thank you very muchSee you next time. |
