Hello. My name is Yoonse-Kim in Hana Academy
Seoul, the republic of Korea. Thank you for your various information about the
map of the east Asia. I wrote this letter to you because I have something to
tell you related to the map of “Sea of
Japan.”

I want
to recommend you to use the word “East
Sea” rather than the Sea of japan for the following reasons. First, the
waters between the Japan and South Korea cannot be confined to the sea of
Japan. We both possess the area and actually the islands in South Sea such as
Wullengdo and Dokdo have been the belongings of Korea for over 700 years. We should say the sea,
East Sea, since it is located in the Eastern area. I am really looking forward
others to use the word East Sea.
