Dear one who concerns.

I'm Yujin Hwang, and I wanted to talk to you about something important regarding how Korea's history and land are shown on your website.

I noticed a big mistake. Instead of saying "East Sea," you've been calling it the "Sea of Japan." This is a big problem that needs fixing right away.

º»·Ð

I saw this mistake in one of your articles, "<Tonghae Satellite Launching Ground>." It's important to know that the 'East Sea' has been Korea's for a really long time, since way back in the 6th century when Dokdo was discovered. Dokdo is an island in the middle of the East Sea, and it belongs to Korea. We have documents from 1900 that say Dokdo is Korean. Also, Korean people have always looked after the island.

Japan says Dokdo is theirs, but they're using old papers to prove it. But Japan hurt Korea's history during the 35 years they ruled over us. So, their proof isn't fair.

There's been a big argument about who owns Dokdo and the East Sea, but it's clear that they belong to Korea. That's how it's always been, and that's how it should stay.

Please change "Sea of Japan" to "East Sea" on your maps. Using the wrong name is not okay. Let me know when you've made the change.

Thank you for listening.

Best, Yujin Hwang
