Hello, my name is Eunjae Song.
I am a high school of South Korea and also part of young
reporters that do their best to tell what's right and wrong about
Korea's territories and their names.
I was looking at your article and found that you used the word
'Sea of Japan' instead of East Sea.

º»·Ð
The sea between Korea and Japan should be called
as 'East Sea' instead of 'Sea of Japan'.
'East sea' was used for 2000 years but due to Japanese
occupation the sea started to be called as 'Sea of Japan'.
However because the sea between Korea and Japan is
Korea's territory it should be called as 'East Sea'.
On the historical record of Korea, Japan, and China,
it is easy to find that that part of the sea is written as 'East Sea'.
Also, IHO(International Hydrographic Organization) chose
'East Sea' as an official name of that sea.
For these reasons 'East Sea' is the international standard name
and 'Sea of Japan' shouldn't be used.

I would like you to take this opportunity to know
exactly how 'East Sea' should be called.
It would be greatly appreciating if you modify
'Sea of Japan' into 'East Sea'.
Thank you for reading this long email.
I will be looking forward for your reply.
