Hello, I¡¯m Jung Kwang-min from Korean high school .

In articles dealing with issues related to Korea, I would like to find and correct information that is incorrect or insufficient in history and geography.

º»·Ð

The first historical record of the Korean people on the East Sea is recorded in King Dongmyeong of Goguryeo in the Three Kingdoms, and also in the monument to the great king of Gwanggaeto, which still remains in the area called Ji'an in the middle of the Yalu River in northeast China. Since then, the Donghae place name continues to appear on the map. In particular, the name Donghae can be easily found on old Korean maps made after the 16th century. The name Donghae is also on the Paldocheongdo Island of Sinjeungdongguk Yeoji Seungram, which was made in 1531.

The Korean government and private organizations have been making efforts to bring back the East Sea by appealing to the international community on the issue of the East Sea mark through efforts over the past 10 years. As seen earlier, this was the name used most frequently until the 19th century, and based on its legitimacy, the international community raised a question about the use of the East Sea name for the East Sea area. This is part of an effort to restore our name to the East Sea area.

The name of the East Sea has been used by the world's leading media and telecommunications companies such as Economist, Financial Times, CNN, and so on.

Thank you for reading and we would appreciate your favorable consideration.
