Hello. I'm Ha Yeon Park, a Korean student and I am interested in protecting Dokdo and the East Sea against Japan.
Then I found some distorted information on your website. Your website is introducing "the East Sea" in term "the Sea of Japan." I want to request you to modify this wording. I want to inform you that the correct name of the sea is 'East Sea' since it has never been the territory of Japan.

º»·Ð
East Sea that Korean name is used for more than two thousand years proven through the multiple files, and ¡°Samguk Sagi (` The Romance of Three kingdoms)¡± dongmyeongwang, ¡°Eight State Map, (ø¢Ô³õÅÓñ)¡±, (ä²ÏÐõÅÓñ), as well as various maps can be found.
The term ¡®Sea Of Japan¡¯ is argued that it was first used in the 1602 Matteo Ricci (matteo ricci) ¡°Kunyu Wanguo Quantu (ÍÞæ¨Ø¿ÏÐîïÓñ)¡±, but it is shown through various evidence that the term of the sea was not proven to be "sea of Japan.
Also, according to IHO( International Hydrographic Organization), world's seas should use standard international titles, and 'East Sea' is the title chosen by IHO.
It is historically proved that the 'East Sea' is the territory of Korea. And today, we are trying to correct wrong marks that are marked as "sea of Japan." Therefore, I hope you modify the wrong name into "sea of Korea."

°á·Ð
Please modify the Sea of Japan to "Sea of Korea" based on the above details. To summarize, historically a lot of evidence supports the fact that Dokdo and East sea belongs to Korea sovereignty. It has been demonstrated and it will sustainly be Korean territory in the future. I would appreciate it if you could send me a reply and let me know if the contents I requested have been revised.

Sincerely,
Ha Yeon Park
