Hello. This is Song Hyo-Bin who studies in high school, South Korea.

I'm intersted in French, so I study French words using Glosbe. I really thank you for you website which provides useful contents for my study.

However, I have found a different information in Glosbe from other sources during the study.

In the page of your website which explains the word 'mer du Japon', the name of the sea between Korea and Japan is described as "Sea of Japan". It seems unreasonable to use the name "Sea of Japan" which is decided in the period of imperialism because its original name is "East Sea" which has been used throughout history. Therefore, I believe that the body of water between Korea and Japan should be described as the ¡°East Sea¡± or at least with the simultaneous use of both names; ¡°East Sea/Sea of Japan.¡±

So I think that the word  'mer du Japon' can be changed into something that corresponds to 'East Sea'.

And the explanation of 'mer du Japon ' also can be changed into 'ÔÔú' from 'ìíÜâú'.

As a fine source for the online information, I hope you will be able to make appropriate corrections on your website. I look forward to your cooperation and it would be most helpful if you give me reason when you decide to adhere to current naming practice.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

With Kindest Regards,

Song Hyo-Bin
