Hello I'm Ha Yeon Park, a Korean student. I'm here to inform you that I found out huge mistake what's on your website. This is for our country¡¯s glory and I hope you to take care about the reason why we need you to correct some errors. Posting false information on a website is a way of conveying false information to many people, and it's an act of distorting the facts.
Dokdo is Korean territory. Therefore, I am requesting you to modify  "Takeshima" on your website into "Dokdo".

Dokdo is historically and geographically our land. Nevertheless, Japan claims to be its territory. They are distorting their history by their own. Dokdo belongs to the uljinhyeon of the local metropolitan Samcheok, Gangwon Province, our land.
But your website is introducing that Dokdo is a group of Japan-claimed islands. This is a wrong information. The evidence that the Japanese Foreign Ministry uses to claim Dokdo is Japanese territory is invalid. They say that the Japanese government transferred Dokdo into Japanese territory in 1905, since Dokdo was an empty island. However, Dokdo was the territory of Korean ancient countries for more than a millennium. Various documents of the past such as the Annals of King Sejong(1454) or the Dongguk Daejido(1755~1757) states Dokdo as Chosun Dynasty's territory. Also, the No. 41 imperial decree of the Korean Empire globally announced Dokdo as their territory in 1900. Therefore, the attempt of the Japanese government to transfer Dokdo into Japanese territory is invalid. Also, you marked the East sea as 'Sea of Japan' which isn't the correct name of the sea. The East Sea was called 'The Sea of Korea' or 'The East Sea' for centuries until the 19th century when the Japanese government started to insisted that it is the 'Sea of Japan'.

Finally, once again,I want to emphasize that Dokdo is Korean territory and still it be Korean territory in the future. Please don't spread false such as Takeshima and I'm requesting you to modify the word into  Dokdo and correct errors on your website. Thank you for reading this e-mail.
I hope there will be quick change to what I requested.
Sincerely,
Ha Yeon Park
