The East Sea has long been in the territorial waters of Korea. Even in a British global map in 1714, it is reffered to as the 'Sea of Corea', not 'Sea of Japan'. However, Japan maintains that it should be 'Sea of Japan' without considering these evidential references.

Therefore, I hope the website changes the name of the sea as 'East Sea' or at least 'East Sea/Sea of Japan' instead of solely writing as 'Sea of Japan'. I will be waiting for a postive reply. Sincerely, Jimin Lee |
