Dear Web Administrator,

Hello, I am Sung Min-ju, who is attending Pusan Foreign Language High School in Korea.

I saw a Dokdo notation error on this website.

I am writing this article to inform the administrator of this error and request correction.

We would appreciate it if you read this article and correct any errors.

If you correct any errors, it will be of great help to the Republic of Korea as well as to many people who visit this website for information.

If you have any questions, please contact me by email.

º»·Ð

Let me tell you why the expression ¡°Takeshima¡± used on this website is incorrect.

To help the web administrator understand, I will explain the historical evidence.

If you refer to the conclusion of the San Francisco Peace Treaty, you can see that Dokdo is Korean territory.

The San Francisco Peace Treaty is a treaty signed by the Allies and Japan at the end of World War II.

In Article 2(a) of this Treaty, "Japan recognizes the independence of Korea and waives all rights, titles and claims to Korea, including Jeju Island, Geomundo Island and Ulleungdo Island."

This is only an example of Korea's 3,000 islands.

Just because Dokdo is not directly specified, it cannot be considered that Dokdo is not included in Korean territory.

Therefore, it is certain that Dokdo is Korean land.

°á·Ð

Besides the San Francisco Treaty, there is a lot of historical evidence.

Dokdo is clearly South Korea's territory, not Japan's.

Therefore, Dokdo should be written as ¡°Dokdo¡±, which is a Korean name, not ¡°Takeshima,¡± which is a Japanese name.

We would appreciate it if you read this article and correct any errors.

Thank you for reading my article.

Have a nice day.
