Hello. My name is Seohyun Lee, a high school student in Korea and working as a reporter for Dokdo Saving. My job is to find websites all over the world that give misinformation about Dokdo, and to send a correction letter to those sites. And I'm sending you this message because I found out that your website is misrepresenting the name of Dokdo as lianqurt rock or takeshima. Please read this article. The content is about pointing out errors related to Dokdo and asking you to correct them. This is a serious matter related to the national territory, so please reply as soon as possible.

Dokdo is an island located to the east of Korea and to the west of Japan. It is located between Japan and Korea in terms of international territory, and both countries are very interested in Dokdo because of its vast amount of undersea resources and marine ecosystems. And the Japanese government has been aiming for this for a long time, distorting history, and using false propaganda to claim Dokdo as its own.
They say it's land. It also shows up on your website. But it is wrong. In the 16th century, the Japanese called Dokdo Takeshima because they mistakenly called Ulleungdo. After that, during the Joseon Dynasty and the Korean Empire, the Korean government continued to manage and occupy Dokdo. And that fact is also recorded in Japanese history. However, your government denies this, distorts history and continues to claim Dokdo as their territory. Just like the Aleutian Islands between Japan and Russia, this is a part where we have to acknowledge the sovereignty of our territory. Continuing to claim Dokdo as Japanese territory is against international law and can be severely punished by organizations such as the International Territorial Management Commission. In addition, the Constitution of the Republic of Korea strongly states that this is illegal, and can be punished under the Constitution of the Republic of Korea through the extradition treaty. If Dokdo continues to claim Dokdo as Japanese territory and takeshima, these penalties will be unavoidable.

Through this message, I want to stop the use of incorrect notation related to Dokdo on your website. Also, I pray that Dokdo will stop claiming that Dokdo is Japanese territory and acknowledge that it belongs to Ulleungdo. Furthermore, through this message, please also bear in mind that misrepresentation of your website can lead to severe penalties as well as international disputes. This concludes the message with the hope that your website will be corrected as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please contact this email at 12leeseohyun@gmail.com. thank you.
