Hello, Mr. Chris Martin

I'm hyosung Chung from high school.
I'm working as a Dokdo protector in a high school student press corps.
I'm an ordinary student who likes Japanese cartoons and animations.
I'm contacting you because I found an error while reading your news.

I would like to ask you to change 'Sea of Japan' to 'East sea' from the title.

I am well aware of the fact that this incident causes conflict between Japan and Korea.
And I understand that changing the name is not that simple a task.
However, it is correct to mark the name of the place you know 'Sea of Japan' as 'East Sea'.
I think one wrong word can undermine the credibility of the entire news.
Please check again and correct it.
If it is difficult to completely change it, I suggest that you mention the two names together.

Thank you for taking your time to read my mail even though you must be busy.
I'm well aware that this kind of request is not a pleasant one.
I want to let people around the world know the right Korea and I think it's my duty I should do for my future generations.
I look forward to your wise decision.

Sincerely, Hyosung Chung
