I found that the sea between the Korean peninsula and Japan was labeled as the “Sea of Japan”, which should be corrected. 

“East Sea”, the right name has been called over 2,000 years. 

After Japan started to invade Korea early 20th century, “Sea of Japan” was used. 

This expression is a reminder of Japanese colonialism and therefore should be refrained from wide use these days. 

Many historical maps and other evidences support  this fact on naming this sea.
