Hello, this is Hyunjun Lee, high school student of South Korea.
I recently visited the website related to the map about "Takeshima" and I found some wrong notations of it
I am sending this message to ask for corrections about the incorrect notations.

The island where the website mentioned as "Takeshima" is actually called "Dokdo" for a long time and in historical resource, it can be seen that Koreans lived and governed Dokdo for a long time.
Japan is arguing that Dokdo was Japan's realm for a long time, but the fact is that Japan illegally ruled Dokdo as a part of Japanese colonial period and there doesn't have any other evidence under the international law that Dokdo is Japan's realm.

Dokdo is surely Korea's territory and it is an important legacy of Korean history. Our ancestors have fought about this issues for a long time and we have the right and duty to protect our history for our next generation.
It will be thankful if the wrong notations be corrected and I am looking forward seeing the website with correct information of Dokdo.
Sincerely,
Hyunjun Lee |
