I am Seonwon Kim from South Korea.

I am surfing to find out typographical errors about Korean history or territory.

I found out something wrong on your website and strongly urge to correct the wrong term “Sea of Japan“  to the right term.

Now I am going to point out the right term of the sea between Korea and Japan, 

so-called 'East Sea', not 'Sea of Japan'.   

About 2,000 years ago, ancient Korean people named it as 'East Sea'. 

You may easily see it at the old maps that were drawn in East Asian countries. 

In contrast, no maps that said "Sea of Japan" were found until the 18th century. 

People should know the history of name as well as the name itself. 

I appreciate your reading my opinion.

I hope you to correct the previous improper naming to the new one, 'East Sea’.
