Hello I am bon young Koo, a student in hana academy seoul, in Korea.

I am really proud to introduce myself to be one of the member of the Dokdo Cyber Press, a non-governmental and voluntary organization with the mandate to provide correct information about Korea to the international community, including text book publishers.

And I think there is one thing that I think it’s wrong written on this website.

To my great surprise, I found out that a article of yours have wrongly named the “East sea” as the “Sea of Japan” The name of the sea between the Korean Peninsula and the Japanese archipelago, currently named as the “Sea of Japan” in your article, should be corrected to the “East sea.” Because the word “Sea of Japan” is a word that was made by the imperialism of Japan. So it is not a right expression to explain the “East Sea”

It maybe just a mere expression mistake, but I think it’s right to change something that is wrong. I humbly ask you to change the word “Sea of Japan” to the “East Sea” and if you don’t mind, give me a reply email to kooby0511@naver.com
