Hi, my name is Su Hyeon Han in Hana academy Seoul, the Republic of Korea. Thank you for lots of information that you gave to us. I want to talk about the part of ‘Sea of Japan’ between Korea and Japan. 

The news’s headline was ‘Russian bombers conduct air patrol over Sea of Japan’. The site named ‘Sea of Japan’ instead of ‘East Sea’. Actually, a conflict between ‘Sea of japan’ and ‘East Sea’ still exists and it’s not over, so it will be the best option to use two names together until the two countries agree on the common designation of the UN and the International Hydrographic Organization. And also it is not fair to confine the ocean surrounded by many countries in the name of a country. When the site remains the name ‘Sea of Japan’, it may seem to side with one side of the other when the conflict is not over.

So, In the case of Sea of Japan, I would recommend you to change the name to ‘East Sea’ or emblemize both ‘Sea of Japan’ and East Sea’.
